    Why teams?

    Working in a group gives you a great opportunity to train together and keep motivated throughout the day.

    What kit would I need?

    Like any sport, it is vital that you have the correct equipment for the job and in this case good walking boots! – Please click here for our recommended list and we encourage Tartan.

    Are their marshals?

    Yes, there will be marshals at points throughout the course

    What will I need to take on the day?

    Please ensure you are wearing the correct attire (please see Kit List).

    How long is the event?

    25km

    What is the course like?

    The course is mainly off-road, hilly and uneven terrain. There will be narrow pathways, stiles and gates to tackle all of which will become slippery and muddy in adverse weather conditions. Please ensure that you have the correct footwear for the event – see Kit List

    What happens if I do not reach my charity minimum?

    We encourage everyone to reach their target by asking friends and families to support you.

    Is there parking at the event?

    Yes there is ample parking at Denbies Vineyard

    Is there a mainline train station near?

    Yes. Dorking Station is just a 10-minute walk from the Vineyard

    Where does the event start and finish?

    The event will start and finish at Denbies Vineyard, Dorking

    Is there anything for my family to do if they wish to wait for me?

    Yes, Denbies has numerous facilities and we have some provided with some bespoke packages for any guests of the hike
